Very easy! Well worth it, especially if you use a carboy or a "wide neck" fermenter. It is easy to clean as all the parts come out and easy to use. Instructions not great but I didn't need them. I think this was a worthwhile investment as the alternative is sucking on the end of a tube and I think that it would almost definitely infect the batch. If you can get one of these you should.

So simple, one pump and its off, I'm a terror when it comes to syphoning I just can't cordinate getting the tube in the carboy resulting in wasted wine, this syphon is a doddle as the tube is in the container before you start.

The instructions that come with the syphon are a little vague but to be honest it is so simple that it does not take long to work it out. It does what it says flawlessly and being a fairly large bore tube it syphons very rapidly. A couple of pumps is all that is required to get the brew flowing. A brilliant product and at a very reasonable price
