Lovelly light and refreshing brew with hoppy character, addition of sugar to the top of range aided secondary fermentation within the bottle to produce a nicely carbonated beer. Deff doing this one again!

I really am getting a feel for these very good Coopers kits. I made this one up substituting the sugar for 1kg of light DME and made it to 35 pints which for me is about right for a 40 pint kit, gives a bit more body. Bottled after 10 days with 1/2 teaspoon of brewing sugar per bottle and 3 weeks later poured a bottle which had a reassuring fzzzt! on opening and had a great head and colour, slight chill haze and hardly any sediment. Used a Safale-04 yeast as well which is proving to be almost idiot proof in place of the supplied Coopers one which will be held in reserve. Will definitely be doing this one again, 4.7 out of 5 because 5 implies perfection.

An easy to brew IPA which fermented quickly with So4 yeast. After 3 weeks of conditioning it was ready. I was worried at first as there was an over powering bitterness to this but after the three weeks this had mellowed to an excellent brew. Will brew this one again once I have run out of John Bull IPA (is my favourite).

I made this brew after not doing any homebrew for several years. The instructions were easy to follow. The fermentation took a while to get going (_15 hours for it to really kick in) and was complete in around 6 days. The brew was then transfered to a pressure barrel and was ready to drink within 10 days without using finnings. It produced an exceptionally clear beer with a good bitter flavour which matured into a rounder flavour afer a further 2 weeks in the barrel. The kit is a "one can" kit requiring addition of sugar or spray malt. I used 1kg of sucrose and found that the results were very satificatory. I will use this kit again.
