I didnt have a problem with this ale, no sticking of fermentation but it is definately better to do secondary fermentation in the bottle. I am buying my next batch now so i can enjoy with all my friends over the winter. A strong beer with that winter warmer taste.

Brew seemed to get stuck around 1.020 after being at 21 degrees for about 2 weeks, syphoned to barrel and left for a further week in the warm, then transferred to the cold to mature for a month. Tastes very nice, but slightly too sweet for my tastes. A more experienced brewer may have been able to get it going again, and down to the reccomended 1.010 final gravity, which Im sure would have given a fantastic end result.
