A decent pint and the price is a real bonus. I used beer enhancer with this product. It benefited from an 8 week condition time as at 4 weeks it was a little sharp. This is one I will do when I know there will be demand for beer at my place (visitors, barbecues, etc). In a direct comparison to the brews I usually do from Woodeforde's, it's very much lower down in qulaity, but then so is the price. A great budget beer, but splash out on a Woodeforde's kit for those quiet moments when you want to savor something special.

After a break from home brew for 20 years, I returned and made this one. I'm extremely happy!! Can't wait to make the next batch, and fill the whole shed up with it! Thoroughly recommended.

Everyone on here is saying this is the best value and easiest kits to do, well i believe they are absolutely correct! I purchased this even though I am not keen on Yorkshire bitters. I used the youngs beer enhancer kit and within 4 weeks I was drinking a superb quality little beer. And at the price i cannot complain. I will definately go for it again at the price it is.

These Young's kits are great for the price. The Harvest bitter turned out very well so I thought I'd try the Yorkshire Bitter. Quite a bit sweeter and a real vicar's collar on it. Not my personal favourite style of beer but excellent if you like sweet, creamy Yorkshire bitter. Excellent value for money.

This one is THE best value for money bitter. I let it ferment right out for two weeks with 2 1/2 lb sugar. with finings it took a week to clear, and got even better with time. sadly I finished it. But I am now brewing in two barrels . Top value for the money.

Brewed this and added a light spray malt, what a fantastic beer! Recommend to all to try, it is a low cost ale, but produces a fine and very drinkable brew.
